Doctors, Parties and Michael Jackson

October 12th, 2009

Its been a weird weird time…. Visits to freaky doctors, seeing Obasans and purchasing Michael jackson goods…

Firstly the skin clinic….. What a weird place that was.. It seems the doctor was bored due to a typhoon and decided that we would be his experiments for the day. Depsite telling him numerous times the problem in my Japanese and also in fluent japanese (through suzu). He proceeded to put pins in my arm…. ( i had scrapes from coral, that could be infected).. His solution was to put a safety pin into my arm ( not even the arm with the self diagnosed ‘disease’…) a pin, a needle that you would use for sewing… the weirdo!!! least it cost me 3000円

Ive had some fun over the last couple days:

-Fridays party at TUFS was loads of fun… i met so many people and have a great time, until the guy who took his pants off decided to talk to me, but luckily he only spoke to me unlike Kat whose foot he spat on… :D Okada sensei is an absolute legend, he played the guitar, danced with his fan and basically loved his drink… some dodgy french dudes, one of whom was round kat like a a fly on s**t… sorry kat, no better analogy. .. Other than that, great night

-visiting Chofu where i wnet to see some Budgies and birds, ruben had his haircut and we ate £1 sushi.. Was a good meal…

- Today, explored Shibuya in search of the King of Pop… the discovery will be announced at a later date

Here, There & Everywhere

October 3rd, 2009

Where to start……… ive been here for 2 weeks now and been to Okinawa & Ishigaki… drank too much, ate too much, seen too many people…..

Seems like ive not had a break at all, not time for just me. Last night destroyed my liver for today (as much of the day as i saw) and now im pondering whether i can do it all again. Japanese ife is something that i can honestly say i love, the people are so nice if not too much, no scallies hanging round on corners, and you can do pretty much anything anytime… Again im off out tomorrow with friends.. will i ever be alone i wonder?!? maybe soon

Peace OUT

TECHNO-logy

August 11th, 2009

I am currently planning techological revolution once i hit Tokyo….. phones, gadgets, cleaning robots…. But most of all, i wanna bring this badboy to my small, dark little room..
APC40- aka The Beast

im hoping that the colorful buttons on this mixer will give me the lighting needed in my room without having to purchase a lamp… (cant be arsed going to Ikea)….. Seems i can get this for around £280 in Japan which is a bonus to the £399 or $399 (weird how £ and $ retail price is the same, bastards)… Along side this ive seen some nice 99% noise cancelling headphones i got my eye on, (cant be annoying those poor people on the quietest trains in the world with some banging techno, ill save that for Womb or Air) and some speakers,… Im gonna take this city with some ♪♫♪Teshno♪♫♪!!!!

Also i decided to do some research last night, found some amazing clubs to go in Japan, more than just Womb and Air and the regulars… Im liking the sound of the old disused warehouse.. Seems like im gonna be going out more than i thought……..

25th Womb- Audion?? To go or not to go is the question…………..

自信か地震。。(ruben wants bratwurst)

August 3rd, 2009

This is going to be my first blog detailing my adventures in Japan… A point i wanna address is this:
Im not a professional just as Ruben pointed out, therefore any crtique or ways of improvement can be left outside of this blog, in other words piss off, if you dont wanna read it, then don’t.

Only 39 days to go now until i enter the Tokyo, its still quite a shock to realise i will be there… Its been a long time since project roven and the ways to manipulate the system, if you cant beat it, join it, not that there was anything to beat for the university placing system, just a simple request seemed to suffice. I heard tonight there was an earthquake in Japan, there has been alot of these recently, im beginning to get worried… I remember the Manchester earthquake of M.2.2 which made me jump out of bed and look startled at my scantily clad housemate as we both discussed what happened, then we were greeted by gilmores calls to “shut the f**k up”….

Anyway this blog is about Japan, not a recital of the past. I can only imagine what terror im gonna feel when an earthquake hits and im there. Im hoping that i will be drunk dancing away in Air or maybe in Womb, just hope that discoball doesnt fall on my head… saying that though, that would be a good way to go out…. Maybe i should do what Ruben has been doing, and research what i need in Japan…. Ive researched there is a beer factory and a racecourse near our University, i think that will suffice…. Ruben can do the rest.

Until next time,
